In my travels, when I’m not teaching a wine class, or looking for new content for wine books, I get the opportunity to meet many different people.

When they learn that I am in the wine business, they inevitable respond in one of two ways.

The first group of people starts asking questions on different wines or how to pair a certain wine with food.

It’s funny.   It’s like they are asking their stockbroker for some type of insider information. I enjoy talking with these people and am happy to answer their questions.

The second group seems for some reason to automatically become reserved or quickly tries to change the conversation. For some reason, they seem to be almost a little intimidated.  Usually the change is preceded by something like, I would like to know more about wine, but I just don’t know how to go about it.

I can’t help but to think, wine really isn’t that hard to learn.  There’s no reason to be intimidated by it at all.

It’s for this second group that I created the Really Fun Wine Book.  There are actually two different parts.

The first is the Really Fun Wine Book and the other option includes online video wine classes as well as the book.

I decided that although I can help a lot of people learn about wine in an face to face actual class, there are a lot more people who would like the information, but in the comfort of their own home.

If you’re like this, then you should consider these courses. I have combined the topics and information from 4 of my most popular classes into one course.

I cover everything from How to Taste Wine, to Red and White wine varieties to Champagne to dessert wine, all in simple “non wine snob” language.

We cover how to buy wine at he store and online.  How to know if you’ll like a wine before you buy it, how to host wine parties and a whole lot of stuff so you wont have to feel intimidated next time someone brings up wine in a conversation.

In my classes, I tell people that after the class they will know more about wine than 95% of people. I will tell you the same thing after going through my wine books or videos.

Wine really isn’t that hard to learn. All it takes is a small effort on your part and a little practice. OK, practice here is a good thing, practice means you get to taste lots of wine!

There are simple joys in life and learning and enjoying wine is one of them. So take a look at the wine book or the video wine course and see what you think. I’m betting that somewhere down the road when you’re enjoying wine, you’ll be glad you did.

One last thing, when you finish the course, drop me an email and let me know how you’re enjoying your wine.

Best wishes and cheers!

Mark
